WESTCARE SERVICES AND PROJECTS

WestCare really cares for those facing hard times

Life for Hayley and the kids was made easier through the aid of WestCare a not-for-profit Penrith organisation helping those in need.

The family received blankets, clothes, toiletries and food.

For 25 years, WestCare has been helping 600 families monthly through community donations.

CANCER CARE
This program provides assistance to families or individuals in their homes that have been affected by cancer. In these times of extreme illness, we provide emergency food parcels and budgeting assistance.

SPECIAL CARE
Once a year a $5000 donation is given by WestCare Community Services to a selected family who has a child with a disability.  This donation is for the specific purpose of purchasing equipment needed to care for the child eg. a wheelchair.

BUDGET CARE
Many people simply have not learnt the skill of home budgeting. This is where we offer assistance to families and individuals in learning how to succeed in their finances. This is done through one on one appointments and through small group learning.

EMERGENCY FOOD SERVICES
Our most active service is our emergency food service where we provide food parcels, EAPA vouchers (electricity vouchers), clothing vouchers, Telstra vouchers and water vouchers for families and individuals in time of need.

WESTCARE COMMUNTIY SERVICES is the strategy of Imagine Nations Church to give love, care and hope to our community. We are passionate about serving our local community through acts of service, providing skills and resources to see a brighter future.

Located in the heart of the Penrith Community on Henry Street; WCS offers a caring environment with a growing body of experienced volunteers.WCS is a great avenue of resource. By networking with other organisations we can source out the best support required for individual clients needs. Likewise many clients are often referred to us by other government and non-government organisations. However a referral is not required.
